<div></div> <p><a href="https://deadline.com/tag/england/" id="auto-tag_england" data-tag="england">England</a> beat Germany in a major soccer tournament for the first time since winning the World Cup in 1966 — and the action scored the biggest UK audience of <a href="https://deadline.com/tag/euro-2020/" id="auto-tag_euro-2020" data-tag="euro-2020">Euro 2020</a> to date.</p> <p>With second-half goals from Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane, England ran out 2-0 winners against an old enemy in the last 16 tie. Broadcast on BBC One, the game peaked with 20.6M viewers in the closing stages, as Gareth Southgate’s men had a half-full Wembley Stadium in raptures.</p> <p>Overall, BBC One’s coverage averaged 13M viewers from 4PM to 7.35PM, according to BARB figures supplied by overnights.tv. That equated to 69% of the available TV viewing population at the time, as former England striker Gary Lineker presided over the historic scenes in London.</p> <p>England vs Germany topped the group match between England and Scotland, which peaked with 19.4M earlier this month — the previous UK audience high for Euro 2020. Broadway’s ‘MJ’ Has A New Michael Jackson As Myles Frost Replaces Ephraim Sykes

<div></div> <p>As Broadway gets ready to rock with you once again, there’s a new man in the mirror for the <a href="https://deadline.com/tag/michael-jackson/" id="auto-tag_michael-jackson" data-tag="michael-jackson">Michael Jackson</a> musical. From India, July brings the Taapsee Pannu-led thriller Haseen Dillruba out July 2 on Netflix, Farhan Akhtar punching dudes in Toofaan available from July 16 on Prime Video, the young love Netflix anthology Feels Like Ishq on July 23, and the Jimmy Sheirgill-led thriller Collar Bomb exploding July 9 on Disney+ Hotstar. The second season of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever is due a day prior on July 15. Meanwhile, Chris Pratt is headed to the future in The Tomorrow War, debuting July 2 on Prime Video.</p> <p>July is also a big month for sequels, follow-ups, and sophomore runs. Zendaya voices Lola Bunny, while many of the original voice actors return to voice the Looney Tunes characters. Akhtar and Mehra reunite eight years since Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. It includes Chris Wood, Mark Hamill, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Liam Cunningham, Lena Headey, Diedrich Bader, Alicia Silverstone, Stephen Root, Griffin Newman, and Susan Eisenberg.</p> <p>Kevin Smith (Jay and Silent Bob) is the showrunner on Masters of the Universe: Revelation. TCL C728 also offers a 120Hz refresh rate with MEMC, and features hands-free voice commands to the TV. C728 has on 15W and one 5W speaker. </p> <h3>TCL C725 specifications</h3> <p>The TCL C725 has a QLED 4K display with 60Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour volume, and HDR 10+ support. It is also powered by the company’s AiPQ Engine and supports both MEMC and HDMI 2.1. There’s a video calling camera on top and is integrated with ONKYO certified soundbar with Dolby Atmos for a premium entertainment experience. GitHub Copilot That Helps You Code Better With Suggestions for Whole Lines or Entire Functions Launched

It is an “AI pair programmer” that suggests whole lines of code or entire functions based on how you code and what you are working on. GitHub Copilot is in a limited technical preview as of now, so the slots to enrol are limited. The preview works well with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, and Go, but the final version will work with a broader set of frameworks and languages.</p> <p>Chief Executive Officer of <a href="https://gadgets.ndtv.com/tags/github">GitHub</a>, Nat Friedman, shared through a <a href="https://github.blog/2021-06-29-introducing-github-copilot-ai-pair-programmer/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">blogpost</a> that the platform is launching a technical preview of <a href="https://copilot.github.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">GitHub Copilot</a>, an AI-powered assistant developed to help people code on the platform. GitHub Copilot adapts to the way you write code and helps you complete the work faster. It can suggest complete lines of code or entire functions by analysing how you code. The AI assistant has been developed in collaboration with OpenAI, and is powered by the OpenAI Codex that is said to be much better than GPT-3 when it comes to code generation.</p> <p>“It helps you quickly discover alternative ways to solve problems, write tests, and explore new APIs without having to tediously tailor a search for answers on the internet,” the post reads.</p> <p>GitHub Copilot allows you to cycle through alternative suggestions and manually edit the suggested code. It then learns from the edits you make to match your coding style. It can use the context of the code you’ve written and give suggestion to help you complete the job faster. You can also write a comment describing the logic of what you want to be coded and GitHub Copilot will assemble the code. It is said to work great with repetitive code patterns so users can let it generate the rest of the code. They will all be digitally signed by Berners-Lee.</p> <p>“NFTs, be they artworks or a digital artefact like this, are the latest playful creations in this realm, and the most appropriate means of ownership that exists,” said Berners-Lee in a statement.</p> <p>“They are the ideal way to package the origins behind the web.”</p> <div style="height:100%" class="lazyload-placeholder"></div> </div> <div class="group"> <p>In a bizarre turn of events, Berners-Lee appeared to talk down the significance of the NFT in an <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2021/jun/23/tim-berners-lee-defends-auction-nft-web-source-code" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview with The Guardian</a> published last Wednesday after critics questioned whether the auction aligned with the values of the web. “I’m not even selling the source code,” he said. “I’m selling a picture I made with a Python program that I wrote myself, of what the source code would look like if it was stuck on the wall and signed by me.”</p> <p>The auction for the NFT — titled “This Changed Everything” — commenced on June 22, with bidding starting at $1,000.</p> <p>The proceeds will benefit initiatives that Berners-Lee and his wife Rosemary Leith support, Sotheby’s said.</p> <p>Some NFTs have sold for millions of dollars in the last few months.</p> <p>In March, South Carolina-based graphic designer Beeple, whose real name is Mike Winkelmann, sold an NFT for a record $69 million at a Christie’s auction. Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, sold his first tweet as an NFT for $2.9 million later that month.</p> <p>Earlier this month, a rare digital avatar known as a CryptoPunk sold at Sotheby’s for over $11.7 million. Total NFT sales reached an eye-popping $2 billion in the first quarter of this year, according to data from Nonfungible, a website which tracks the market.</p> <p>But there are <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2021/06/15/nft-price-crash-what-next-for-digital-collectibles.html">signs that the bubble could be bursting</a>, with sales of digital collectibles falling dramatically in recent weeks. Overall sales plunged from a seven-day peak of $176 million on May 9, to just $8.7 million on June 15, according to numbers from Nonfungible.
