It's difficult to say whether this is a good or bad thing at this point because it will ultimately depend on how well the integration works on next-gen consoles.<br /><br />Despite the fact that there is no integration between these modes, both versions of the game will include the Seasons mode, which is more involved than ever. seasons were introduced in NBA 2K21 to serve as a sort of live service strategy for the game, but they were only available in a limited number of game modes. Seasons will be available in MyTEAM, MyCAREER, The W on next-gen, and either the City or the Neighborhood depending on which version of the game you have this time around. Although, the emphasis on the Neighborhood for last-gen console owners is a good sign for those who haven't been able to upgrade yet, as it could have been treated more like an afterthought, similar to how sports games are frequently treated.</p>
