Two teens killed in West Hempstead collision, Nassau police say

Two teens sitting in a parked vehicle early Thursday morning in West Hempstead were killed when a BMW SUV driven by another teen, an 18-year-old female, crashed into them, Nassau police said. The driver had been headed north on Westminster Road around 1 a.m. when she hit the vehicle near Fairlawn Avenue, police said. The victims, a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old female, were pronounced dead at the site of the crash. The driver was taken a local hospital in stable condition, police said.
